The Greater Houston USBC Organizational Meeting
was held on January 14, 2006 at the Hobby Hilton. (minutes)Bylaws (copy of bylaws) to govern the new association were adopted by voice vote. According to the new Bylaws each member of the association over the age of 14 is entitled to voice and vote at membership meetings.
Two membership meetings will be held each year.

Association Representative Program
The Association Representatives were formally referred to as "League Representatives" or "Lane Representatives." They are an integral part of the association who help to make up the volunteer network of the organization. The vast majority of them are the same individuals who were active in the HWBA and HBA. Being an Association Representative is about service to the center, its staff, the leagues and to the members. They can be found providing their service in the centers presenting awards, attending league officer meetings, and working to promote our association tournaments. Educational meetings are planned quarterly to keep the Association Representatives up to date on all aspects of the association.
We are interested in finding more bowlers to broaden our volunteer base. If you or someone you know is interested in joining this program, please contact Doris Chesser, Chairman.
