GHUSBC Recognized by Texas Bowling Writers for State Awards Doris Chesser Selected for “Article of the Year”
Greater Houston USBC has been selected for Awards by the Texas Bowling Writers Organization for the 2015-16 Bowling Season.
GHUSBC has been awarded the 1st Annual Multimedia Award for “the many ways it promotes and publicizes the association. The support from the Greater Houston Board of Directors is evidenced by your beautifully edited, constructed and informative communication vehicles. Without that most important resolve from your association’s leadership, the all-important communication with your membership would suffer greatly.”
In addition, Doris Chesser’s Greater Houston Association Highlights submission to the TBW 2015 Summer Newsletter has been selected as “Article of the Year”. The selection committee found the article to be “outstanding and very interesting” they went on to commend Doris as “an asset to our bowling family”.

Texas Bowling Writers was formed to aid and encourage local association publicity chairmen in their efforts to write articles for publication, to create and edit newsletters, and to create effective posters.
