Russell Westbrook Takes a Break From Basketball to Host Annual Bowling Event

Another sports superstar displayed his love of bowling recently as Oklahoma City Thunder’s perrenial MVP candidate Russell Westrbook took a break from the stretch run of the NBA season to host his annual bowling fundraiser at AMF Boulevard Lanes in Edmond, Okla.

The event benefits Westrbook’s Why Not? Foundation, which works to help children in the Oklahoma City area that are facing hardships of any kind. The 2018 event specifically benefited initiatives to improve literacy for children in the area.

Westbrook, like many NBA stars, enjoys bowling in his spare time and the event helps him spread the word about his foundation and its beneficiaries.
